Using google translate to view blocked site

Imagine one day you need to browse some website for a few minutes just to take a quick look at that site but your ISP blocked that site and you can't open it. The most common way to solve this problem is to search proxy and set it on your browser. But did you know that there is a faster and simpler way to view blocked site without using any additional software or using a proxy ? All you need is an access to google translate on your browser and you are good to go.

Here's how to do it :
  1. Open google translate (http://translate.google.com/) on your browser.
  2. Set the language in the translate box (left box) to "Detect Language".
  3. Set the language in the result box (right box) to any language other than the website's original language.
  4. Type in the address of the website in the translate box (the left box). See example in picture below :
    Example
  5. Click on the link (blue text) in the result box to view the blocked site using google translate. See picture below :
    Result
  6. Click on the "Original" Button on the top right side to view the web in it's original language.
Just remember to set the language in result box to any other language other than the original language. In the example above you need to set the language in the result box to non-english since gamefaqs default language is english.

That's all the tutorial for today, feel free to comment.
Cheers.
